KO761- Weekend Spanish Speaking Housekeeper - Brooklyn, NY

Overview

A busy, active Brooklyn household of four is seeking a weekend housekeeper to join its team. The home has two children, both of whom have nannies. This home has a rooftop garden, and you will be responsible for it as well.  The family is looking for a fluent Spanish Speaker. The position is Saturday and Sunday and the hours are flexible for the right fit. The family will have a full-time housekeeper Monday through Friday so you will really just keep the house moving over the weekend. 

Responsibilities

Daily responsibilities will include, but are not limited to;

• Proactive ownership of cleaning the home- daily run through of the house and tidy everything up 
• Laundry and household management
  • Laundry is a significant part of the role, including family laundry, folding and organizing, dry-cleaning logistics (drop-off/pick-up, and scheduling)
• Outdoor space maintenance- rooftop garden 
• Oversee inventory 
• Making beds 
• General tidying up in common areas 
• Keep the kitchen tidy, including loading and unloading the dishwasher and taking out the trash
• Maintaining organization/figuring out new systems when needed 
• Coordinate effectively with vendors, staff, and principals within a busy family environment 

Qualifications

• Self-directed and proactive
• Organized and detail-oriented
• Experienced with household systems and schedules
• Comfortable working in a staffed household
• Strong communicator

Requirements

• Able to handle both housekeeping and light household-management responsibilities
• Experienced with laundry and garment care
• The housekeeper must be comfortable working around other household staff and family members.
• Good communication skills are important for coordinating schedules and tasks.

Salary and Benefits

• DOE pay ranges from $40-50 per hour
