Job Description

As a Security Officer Driving Role Perimeter Patrol in Naperville, IL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Hotels & Resorts, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a hospitality and entertainment location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, monitor access points, and assist guests and staff with professional customer service. This driving position offers the opportunity to represent Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, and caring culture through teamwork, clear communication, and integrity.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to guests, visitors, and team members by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, guest concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of guest areas, entrances, parking areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and assist with maintaining orderly guest flow during peak business hours, events, and special activities.
• Document incidents, observations, and completed patrols in accordance with Allied Universal and location procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
