PRC is seeking a dependable, hands-on Maintenance Technician to join our Edgewater community. If you enjoy fixing things, take pride in your work, and like helping create a comfortable environment for residents, we'd like to hear from you.
What You'll Do
- Complete resident maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner
- Perform general repairs, including basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry and drywall work
- Assist with painting, patching and preparing apartments for new residents
- Perform routine preventive maintenance
- Help maintain the property, common areas and grounds
- Identify maintenance issues and report repairs requiring additional support
- Provide friendly, professional service to residents
What We're Looking For
- At least one year of general maintenance or related experience
- Basic knowledge of residential or building repairs
- Ability to troubleshoot common maintenance issues
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Dependable, organized and able to work independently
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to meet the physical requirements of the position
