The opportunity:

Sephora Internships provide an inclusive and comprehensive experience that equips young professionals with the tools needed to align their passions with work. The 10-week internship program develops early career professionals by providing interns with hands-on learning, personal and professional networking opportunities, and the ability to work on projects that directly impact the business.

Throughout the summer, interns will gain exposure to Sephora’s culture, teams, and career opportunities while building both technical and professional skills.

Program details:

An inclusive and engaging experience that develops technical and professional skills through weekly virtual workshops, networking opportunities, and career panels that provide exposure to Sephora’s career growth opportunities.

• June 14 – August 20, 2027

• Working hours: 36hrs/week, Monday – Friday, PST

Position title: Intern, Design Intern, Hair Category Marketing

Your role at Sephora...

As the Intern, Design Intern, Hair Category Marketing, you will sit on our Hair Creative Marketing Team. The Design Intern will play a key supporting role in bringing Sephora’s marketing campaigns to life through creative execution. This position will collaborate closely with teams across Editorial, Visual Merchandising, Content Production, and Marketing to develop and deliver compelling creative assets that support a seamless, best-in-class 360° client experience across retail, digital, and paid media channels.

What you will accomplish:

• Assist in the development of creative concepts, presentation materials, and asset management processes for Hair Category Marketing campaigns.

• Support the creation, production, organization, and handoff of print and digital marketing assets across multiple channels.

• Research emerging social media, beauty, and design trends and help integrate relevant insights into campaign creative and content strategies.

• Partner with cross-functional teams to help highlight key brand and business moments across Sephora’s social media and marketing channels.

• Support creative execution and production needs by adapting and versioning existing campaign assets to deliver cohesive, channel-specific creative.

Qualifications & experience:

• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign.

• Experience using Figma for design collaboration and creative development.

• Nice to have: Experience with Adobe After Effects.

• Interest in exploring and leveraging AI tools to support creativity and design workflows.

• Strong organizational, time management, and project prioritization skills in a fast-paced environment.

• Passion for the beauty industry and a desire to stay current on social media, digital, and creative trends.

Eligibility requirements:

• Graduating in 2027 or 2028 (undergraduate or graduate degree)

• Work schedule must align with 9-5PM, Pacific Standard Time

• Must permanently reside and work in the U.S.

• Must be open to relocating to the San Francisco Bay Area upon graduation for consideration for full-time hybrid positions*

• Available from June 14 – August 20, 2027

What You’ll Get:

The target hourly pay for this position is $27.00 - $27.00. The actual hourly pay offered depends on various factors, which may include, as applicable, the individual applicant’s qualifications for the position; years of relevant experience; specific and unique skills; level of education attained; certifications or other professional licenses held; other legitimate, non-discriminatory business factors specific to the position; and the geographic location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will perform the job.
