Experienced Dealership Controller Wanted

Larson Automotive Group is hiring an experienced Automotive Controller to oversee accounting operations across multiple dealerships within a stable, growing dealer group.

This is a high-impact leadership role for someone with dealership accounting experience who wants greater responsibility, leadership visibility, and long-term career growth.

What You’ll Be Responsible For

• Oversee accounting operations across multiple rooftops 
• Ensure accurate month-end close and financial reporting 
• Manage OEM financial statements and manufacturer reporting 
• Monitor reconciliations, schedules, and cash flow 
• Oversee contracts in transit and deal flow processes 
• Maintain internal controls and accounting compliance 
• Lead and support a 20+ person accounting team 
• Partner with leadership on financial performance and reporting 

 What We’re Looking For

• Prior Automotive Controller or Dealership Accounting Manager experience required      
• Strong dealership financial and OEM reporting knowledge 
• Ability to lead and develop accounting staff 
• Organized, detail-oriented, and accountable leadership style 
• Multi-store experience preferred but not required

Requirements

• Prior experience in retail automotive dealership accounting management is required.
• Strong understanding of dealership financial statements, general ledger accounting, and manufacturer reporting.
• Experience managing cash flow, floor plan reconciliation, and tax computations.
• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to train and mentor staff.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in accounting software and dealership management systems (DMS).
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
