Description
LeMay PCR, a Waste Connections company, is seeking a safety-conscious Class A CDL Driver to join our team in Frederickson, WA. This is a local, home-daily position offering competitive pay, a consistent four-day work schedule, and excellent benefits.
Pay and Schedule
- Starting pay: $35.00 to $35.50 per hour
- Schedule: 4-day workweek (4x10s)
- Monday–Tuesday–Wednesday–Saturday or
- Tuesday–Thursday–Friday–Saturday
- Start time: Between 6:00 a.m. and 6:30 a.m.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Operate a Class A tractor-trailer (manual transmission) on dedicated local routes
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, including checking fluids, tires, and safety equipment
- Maintain compliance with DOT safety regulations
- Provide courteous and professional customer service
- Perform physically demanding work, including lifting up to 50 pounds regularly
- Climb in and out of the truck cab multiple times per day (40+ times)
- Opportunity for training on Roll-Off equipment
- Complete other job-related duties as assigned
Working Conditions and Physical Requirements
- Work outdoors in all weather conditions, including rain, heat, and cold
- Exposure to moving mechanical parts, fumes, vibration, and moderate noise levels
- Frequent climbing, lifting, and physical activity required throughout the shift
- Must be able to safely perform all essential job functions
Minimum Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL (Commercial Driver’s License)
- Minimum of 3 years of Class A commercial driving experience, preferably with 53' trailers
- Clean driving record in compliance with DOT regulation 49 CFR 383.51
- High School Diploma or GED
- Ability to perform physically demanding work without restriction
- Basic knowledge of truck components and inspections
- Strong safety mindset and customer service skills
- Ability to work in all weather conditions
