Position Overview
Ritter is seeking a licensed Health Insurance Sales Agent to join our growing Consumer Sales team. This role focuses on inbound and referral-based sales, helping individuals select the right Medicare and health insurance coverage.
This is an excellent opportunity for agents who want consistent leads, a structured environment, and long-term career growth without cold calling.
What You’ll Do
- Handle inbound calls, web inquiries, and email leads—no cold calling required
- Sell Medicare Advantage, Medicare Supplement, and ACA plans
- Manage and grow your book of business through renewals and referrals
- Assist clients with plan selection, enrollments, and policy servicing
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliant sales practices
- Stay up to date on Medicare guidelines, carrier products, and certifications
What We’re Looking For
- Active Pennsylvania Health Insurance License (additional state licenses a plus)
- Willingness to complete AHIP certification and carrier trainings annually
- Knowledge of:
- Medicare products (Advantage & Supplement)
- Individual/ACA health plans
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to manage multiple client interactions in a fast-paced call center environment
- Prior insurance sales or call center experience preferred
