Sportsbook Risk Analyst / Trader
We are looking for a Sportsbook Risk Analyst / Trader with 3+ of experience in sportsbook risk or fraud. You will monitor betting activity in real time, profile players, and manage liabilities and limits to protect the book.
Your day-to-day tasks will include:
Monitor stakes, liabilities, and suspicious betting patterns in real time
Identify sharps, arbers, bonus abusers, and syndicates, and apply limits or factoring
Adjust margins and limits per event and market within the sportsbook platform risk console
Handle palpable errors, voids, and settlement disputes according to T&Cs
Work with Payments and KYC teams on linked fraud cases and with the sportsbook provider on risky events
Produce liability reports, player risk lists, and P&L impact analysis of risk decisions
Main Requirements:
2 to 3 years of experience in sportsbook risk, trading, or fraud
Strong understanding of betting markets, odds, margins, and liability management
Experience profiling players and detecting arbitrage, bonus abuse, and syndicate activity
Comfortable working with sportsbook platform risk tools and back-office systems
Analytical mindset and confident decision-making under time pressure
Strong command of the English language, both written and verbal
Ability to work on weekends depending on business requirements
