Job Description

As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Driving Role in Delphi, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol professional at a busy food and beverage location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help discourage incidents. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license. You will support daily operations through strong communication, customer service, teamwork, and integrity in a caring, agile, reliable, and innovative culture.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or drivers by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a food and beverage location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate observations to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production areas, warehouse spaces, parking areas, and the exterior perimeter to help identify unusual activity and/or potential concerns.
• Monitor access points, verify entry and exit activity, and document deliveries, visitor activity, and/or other site-related observations in accordance with post instructions.
• Support daily operations by reporting maintenance concerns, policy violations, and/or hazards that could impact people, property, or the location's continuity of operations.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
