Location: Indianapolis, IN
Facility: Ascension Medical Group Clinic
Department: Lab
Schedule: Monday through Friday 7am - 3:30pm
What You Will Do
- Perform high-volume venipuncture and capillary punctures on diverse patient populations.
- Streamline workflow by capturing vital signs and medical histories, ensuring patients are correctly identified and prepared for specimen collection.
- Transcribe provider orders for labs with high precision; manage specimen labeling, processing, and EMR documentation to ensure diagnostic integrity.
- Oversee lab inventory and clinical supplies to ensure seamless daily operations and compliance with safety protocols.
What You Will Need
Licensure / Certification / Registration:
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
- Medical Assistant obtained within 3 Months (90 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. Certified or Registered both accepted.
Education:
- High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
- Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.
