FT Backwaiter/Food Runner - TRAP ROCK in Berkeley Heights. MUST HAVE YEAR ROUND AVAILABILITY(~$20-$25/HR INCLUSIVE OF TIPS!)

Description

TRAP ROCK BREWERY a fast-paced, upscale, fine dining restaurant and microbrewery, is seeking experienced backwaiters/food runners.

Backwaiters/Runners' General Responsibilities:

• Maintain attentiveness to refill water glasses promptly.
• Clear and reset tables in a timely manner.
• Polish and replace beautiful glassware and silverware.
• Clear bus tubs from the bar area.
• Assist servers and bartenders as needed.

Food Runner General Responsibilities:

• Work closely with the expo in the kitchen to monitor incoming tickets.
• Prepare to go to stations and ensure mise en place (having ingredients prepped and organized).
• Organize plates onto the gueridon (food cart).
• Deliver food to tables, correctly identifying each guest's plate without requiring instruction.

A seasoned backwaiter/food runner can seamlessly transition between these roles.

Requirements

Proficient in all aspects of fine dining service.

Knowledge of food and beverage as well as a passion to cultivate this skill.

Displays a confident and professional appearance

Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.

High School Diploma preferred
