Looking for a flexible, high-impact finance role? We are seeking a temporary Management Accountant to join a busy finance team in Scarborough. This role is ideal for a qualified or part-qualified accountant who can hit the ground running and deliver accurate, insightful financial information.
The Role
You will provide essential management accounting support, ensuring timely reporting and financial insight that helps the business make informed decisions. This temporary role offers hands-on exposure to budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly management accounts and variance analysis.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes.
- Analyse costs, profitability, and operational performance.
- Assist with ad hoc financial projects and reporting tasks.
Skills & Experience
- ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualified, or part-qualified.
- Proven management accounting experience, ideally in a commercial or industrial environment.
- Strong Excel skills; ERP/MRP experience advantageous.
- Excellent analytical, organisational, and communication abilities.
