Description
As a Therapist at Utah Orthopaedics, the individual will play a vital role in providing quality care to our patients, focusing on offering a wide range of therapy and rehabilitation services. This position is crucial as the therapist will conduct physical examinations, set up individualized treatment plans, monitor patient's progress, and adjust treatments as necessary. Key Responsibilities Effectively diagnose patient’s physical conditions and implement personalized treatment plans, combining various therapeutic techniques. Regularly assess and record patient’s progress, modifying treatment plans as necessary to ensure the achievement of targeted health outcomes. Firmly guide and motivate patients while performing therapeutic exercises and activities, re-enforcing a positive mindset towards the recovery process. Help those facing long-term physical injuries or illnesses manage their pain and regain normal use of their physical functions. Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals at our center, participating in case discussions, and suggesting appropriate interventions when necessary. Required Qualifications and Skills An active and current license as a Physical Therapist in the state of Utah. A Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy, a Master's degree or Doctorate degree will be considered a significant plus. A minimum of two years of clinical experience as a physical therapist with a preference for individuals having worked in an Orthopedic setting. Excellent patient care and communication skills, capable of building strong relationships with patients. Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary health care team. Proficiency in electronic medical record keeping.
