Overview
The Digital Finance Manager will report to the Director of Finance, Analytical Science Division Global FP&A, and will partner closely with the Digital business unit to drive sustainable growth and profitability. This role is critical in shaping enterprise-level financial strategy for eCommerce and eProcurement channels, providing insights that influence commercial, product, and technology decisions. The manager will serve as a key business partner, enabling data‑driven decision‑making and long‑term value creation.
Responsibilities
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis for the Digital business
- Own, redesign, and expand the Digital P&L to improve visibility into channel performance, profitability drivers, and long‑term growth levers
- Provide data‑driven financial insights that support strategic decision‑making across eCommerce and eProcurement
- Partner with commercial, product, and IT leaders to evaluate business performance, build business cases, and assess ROI for digital investments
- Monitor performance against approved business cases and ensure timely updates in internal portfolio tracking systems
- Develop and maintain financial models that support scenario planning, long‑term growth strategies, and digital channel optimization
- Translate complex financial and operational data into clear, actionable recommendations for senior leadership
- Support pricing, promotional strategy, and digital channel profitability analysis
- Strengthen financial processes, dashboards, and KPIs to improve visibility into digital performance
- Ensure alignment between Digital business objectives and divisional financial goals
This is a hybrid role based out of Milford, MA 3 days a week (Tuesday to Thursday)
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (required)
- MBA designation (preferred)
- 8+ years of progressive finance experience, ideally with exposure to digital, eCommerce, or technology‑driven businesses
- Strong track record of business partnering with product, engineering, and commercial leaders
- Very strong financial analysis and communication skills
- Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills; experience with Finance & analysis tools (e.g., SAP, Power BI and SQL)
- Comfortable presenting to executives when needed
- Balances strategic thinking with strong execution and accountability
- Demonstrates strong judgment and the ability to operate effectively in ambiguous, fast‑changing environments
- Operates with integrity, transparency, and humility
- Brings a broad global perspective of markets, technology, and digital trends
