Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Access Control Stewardship in Wilmer, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will manage entry points, verify access credentials, monitor activity, and help maintain a secure environment for employees and visitors. You will provide outstanding customer service, communicate clearly, and support security-related operations with professionalism. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification and authorization credentials, issue visitor and contractor access documentation, and maintain accurate access-related records.
• Operate access control systems, cameras, alarms, and communications equipment; report unusual activity, access concerns, and equipment issues according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site contacts and emergency responders as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned entry points, production-area access routes, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized access and identify security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
