Job Description – Manager, Human Resources
Key Responsibilities:
1. Recruitment
- Lead full-cycle recruitment efforts for the Indonesia office
- Implement effective HR strategies and provide holistic perspective on talent alignment to the business strategy, with a focus on recruitment and talent development
- Serve as a trusted advisor to hiring managers on talent market trends and recruitment best practices
2. Local People Operations
- Execute local HR administration consistently and accurately, ensuring information from Singapore HR is complete and correctly applied (e.g. new hire orientation, employee queries, training records)
- Apply policies and statutory requirements consistently, and flag changes in local law or practice to HQ HR
- Serve as the country office's key contact for payroll, working with the Payroll lead to ensure complete and timely data and documents for each monthly run
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date personnel files and employee records
- Deliver the tactical elements of employee engagement, policies and practices, including documentation across the employee lifecycle (onboarding, confirmation, offboarding)
- Support ad-hoc HR projects as assigned
3. HR Business Partnering
- Partner with HQ HR teams and local business functions to design and deliver practical solutions to business challenges
- Advise the GM and local leaders on people strategy, organisational needs and execution
- Use people data and analytics to guide decision making and raise issues before they escalate
- Drive performance management, recognition and career development programmes in partnership with business units
- Recommend localisation of HQ policies where local law or market practice requires it
- Act as the local voice of the business to HQ HR, and as the local face of HQ HR to the business

Qualifications/Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 6 to 8 years of HR experience, including generalist or HRBP exposure and hands-on operations
- At least 2 to 3 years as a sole or lead HR practitioner, or as an HRBP with direct ownership of local statutory processes
- Hands-on experience with Indonesian manpower regulations and practices, including Company Regulation, employment contracts (PKWT and PKWTT), BPJS Ketenagakerjaan and Kesehatan, THR, mandatory workforce reporting (WLKP), and severance processes
- Experience updating HR policies, contracts and processes in response to changes in employment law, ideally including the 2023 Job Creation Law or the 2024 Constitutional Court ruling
- Experience supporting a senior business leader on people matters, with the confidence to give candid advice
- Proficiency with HRIS (Workday experience is an advantage) and Excel-based reporting
- Fluent in Bahasa Indonesia and English, both written and spoken
- Experience in a multinational or regional subsidiary environment is preferred
