Job Description

As a Security Officer Identity Check in Hutchins, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Screener at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, you will help support a secure, welcoming environment by screening individuals and/or materials, monitoring assigned areas, and reporting security-related concerns. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly with team members and visitors, and use your attention to detail to help deter incidents. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related protocols at a logistics and distribution location.
• Screen employees, visitors, contractors, packages, and vehicles in accordance with established access-control and screening procedures.
• Monitor entry and exit points, inspect credentials, and report unauthorized access attempts or suspicious activity to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, loading areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortably use a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
