Position Details
- Position: Dietary Aide
- Facility: McClure Post Acute
- Employment Type: Part-Time
- Pay Rate: $19.00 per hour
- Schedule: Part-Time; shift availability to be discussed
Responsibilities
- Assist with meal preparation and food portioning according to established dietary guidelines.
- Prepare and deliver meal trays to residents in a timely manner.
- Assist with serving meals and maintaining an organized dining area.
- Wash dishes, utensils, cookware, and other kitchen equipment.
- Clean and sanitize kitchen surfaces, dining areas, and food service equipment.
- Follow food safety, sanitation, and infection control procedures.
- Ensure residents receive meals consistent with their prescribed diets and dietary restrictions.
- Assist the dietary team with stocking supplies and maintaining inventory.
- Provide courteous and respectful service to residents and staff.
Qualifications
- Previous dietary, food service, or kitchen experience preferred but not required.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Strong attention to cleanliness, food safety, and detail.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to follow instructions.
- Compassionate and respectful attitude toward residents.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform the physical duties of the position.
- Must meet applicable food handler and facility requirements.
