General Manager/COO

Our client is a start-up snack food company, a sister brand of an existing food company. Having full P&L ownership, the successful candidate will take the concept from formation through first production run, retail launch, and scaling — making the sourcing, packaging, manufacturing, and channel decisions. This is a great opportunity to join an exciting new brand. This position is located in the Atlanta, GA area (local candidates only).

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Experience with sourcing and procurement of ingredients, packaging
• Experience negotiating supplier contracts and co-manufacturer selection
• Experience developing go-to-market strategies
• Deep CPG food experience - raw materials to finished goods
• Thorough knowledge of running a business or a business unit
• Direct experience negotiating ingredient and packaging supply contracts
• Experience bringing food products from idea to commercialization
• Having an existing network of suppliers, co-manufacturers, and brokers
• Experience scaling a brand through a national retail launch

 

Salary Range: $200,000 - $400,000 plus bonus/equity
