Job Description
Team: CX Solution ServicesSalary Range: $130,000 - $165,000 USDLocation: Remote
Opportunity for Impact
Applied is where insurance technology gets reinvented, and we build it fast. Our cloud software and AI-powered solutions reach thousands of agencies and brokers worldwide, setting the pace for what modern insurance can do.
We’re looking for a Lead Vendor Solution Consultant to join our CX Solution Services team and be the main technical contact for third-party vendors building integrations with Applied’s products, guiding them from first conversation through certification and annual recertification.
What You’ll Do
- Serve as the primary technical contact for vendors in our Certified Vendor Integration Program, from onboarding through certification, ongoing support, and annual recertification
- Meet with vendors to understand what they want to build, then turn it into clear functional and technical requirements and integration designs they can build and test against
- Guide vendors through design, development, and testing, and help resolve issues in integrations that are already certified
- Review vendor integrations against certification, technical, security, and audit and SOC control requirements, leading in-depth reviews of how vendors’ data moves and how they use our APIs
- Become an expert on Applied’s enterprise architecture and APIs so you can match each integration to the right products and data flows, and estimate the effort and timeline for each vendor during onboarding
- Partner with Business Analysts, Technical Architects, Product Management, Engineering, and our partnership teams to keep integrations on track, bring on new vendors, and maintain vendor documentation such as integration guides and data mappings
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, or equivalent work experience (minimum 8 years, or 6 years with an Associate degree)
- 5+ years of experience implementing business or technical solutions, including designing, reviewing, and troubleshooting cloud integrations
- Experience working directly with software vendors or technology partners to scope, build, and support integrations, plus 3+ years of partner, client, or project management experience
- 2+ years of hands-on experience with APIs and/or cloud platforms, and with building solutions using SQL, Java, JavaScript, VBScript, and REST/SOAP APIs
- Strong data integration background (mapping, transforming, and syncing data between systems) and an understanding of audit practices and SOC controls, with the ability to explain technical topics clearly to technical and non-technical audiences on frequent vendor calls
Bonus points if you also have:
- Google Cloud Platform (GCP) Professional Cloud Architect certification, or Microsoft Azure experience
- Salesforce administration or development experience (including Apex), or experience building applications with containers
- Experience with financial data and general ledger (GL) concepts, or with ERP and CRM systems
- Insurance industry experience, or experience with channel sales, partner programs, or indirect sales
Talent shows up in a lot of different ways, and we mean that. We welcome candidates from all backgrounds and experience levels, including military members and their spouses and those without a traditional degree or tech background. If this role speaks to you, apply.
