The Role
This role will focus on increasing the quantity and quality of the next generation of tennis coaches in the United States.
- Oversee the recruitment and delivery of High School and Collegiate Intro to Coaching workshops.
- Deliver Developing Players and Applied Coaching Skills workshops, including participant assessments.
- Conduct quality assurance reviews of Developing Players and Applied Coaching Skills workshop delivery to ensure consistency and adherence to program standards.
- Recruit, train, and develop the next generation of Coach Developers, with an emphasis on increasing representation of women and coaches of color.
- Support the Coach Developer Academy (CDA), including the Virtual CDA and Coach Developer Academy Levels 1 and 2.
- Assist with the recruitment, selection, curriculum development, micro-coaching, and assessment of participants in the USTA Coaching Summer Fellowship Program.
- Support coaching demonstration events at major tennis events, including the US Open
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to support the successful planning and execution of coach education initiatives and related programs.
Who You Are
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
- Tennis playing and coaching background
- Proven ability in tennis program implementation
- Experience as a Coach Developer delivering workshops and coach education sessions
- Experienced presenter skilled in engaging and building partnerships with diverse populations
- Ability to network with community leaders and industry providers
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
- This position is designated as "hybrid/flex" in Orlando and may allow for both remote and on-site work. Any such position must meet the current USTA hybrid/flex requirements as updated from time to time. Please consult HR for the most current policy.

The expected range for the annual base salary for this position is between $90,000- $100,000. This role is eligible for an Incentive Compensation Plan (ICP) bonus up to 5%. This range does not include any additional pay or benefits for which a person may qualify. The actual base salary offered is determined by several variables, including, as appropriate, the applicant's qualifications for the position, the years of relevant experience, their unique skills, and the location from which they will be performing the job.
