Linklaters is a people business. Being best in class in the eyes of our clients means that our people must be exceptional.
We look not only for brilliant minds, but for people who will thrive in our environment: people who love working collaboratively and demonstrate the innovative, efficient, agile, entrepreneurial, and responsible mind-set we aim to bring to every interaction.
Ours is an environment of outperformance. We achieve this not with targets and incentives, but by fostering a positive, supportive, fair, and open atmosphere.
We respect and value difference but insist on inclusivity. We celebrate all aspects of diversity and challenge any form of bias. This is vital to our ability to work as one team, with a common goal.
The Role:
We are looking for a Pricing Manager to join us on a full-time permanent basis, playing a key role in supporting the firm's pricing strategy to maximise margin and recovery. You will provide expert analysis on global fee arrangements, contribute to fee negotiations, and act as a trusted pricing specialist in partner-facing discussions. Working closely with stakeholders across Finance and the wider business, you will manage responses to global fee deals, drive process improvements, and ensure accurate documentation and data management within SAP. This role offers strong exposure across the firm, with opportunities to contribute to strategic decision-making and continuous improvement within a collaborative, high-performing Finance team.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Support the development and implementation of the firm's pricing strategy, ensuring alignment with wider business objectives.
- Lead and contribute to global fee negotiations, defining strategic positions with Client Relationship Partners and engaging directly with clients where required.
- Ensure appropriate governance by supporting submissions to the Client Pricing Committee and guiding stakeholders through the approval process.
- Deliver high-quality financial modelling and analysis at panel and matter level, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and commercial relevance.
- Provide clear, practical pricing recommendations that balance risk, market dynamics, and profitability considerations.
- Drive continuous improvement across pricing processes, tools, and reporting, including delivering training and monitoring pricing performance.
- Act as a trusted commercial adviser, influencing senior stakeholders and Partners through insight, challenge, and strong relationship management.
- Manage, develop, and mentor team members, while promoting knowledge sharing and the adoption of best practice across the team and wider business.
What we're looking for:
- Proven experience in Pricing or Commercial Finance, preferably within a professional services environment.
- Strong financial and analytical capability, with advanced numeracy and reporting skills; experience with SAP and/or Tableau is advantageous.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly present financial insights and influence senior stakeholders and Partners.
- Strong relationship-building skills, with the ability to establish trust, demonstrate empathy, and act as a credible adviser.
- Proactive and self-motivated, with a strong sense of ownership and the ability to perform accurately under pressure.
- A collaborative, flexible team player with a strong client service mindset and a commitment to delivering high-quality outcomes.

This role can be based in our London offices, with a hybrid working model available.
