Description
Are you an RN with a heart for crisis care looking for weekend work? At Easterseals PORT Health (ESPH), our mission is rooted in empowering individuals and strengthening communities. We are seeking a compassionate and motivated part-time Registered Nurse to join our Virginia REACH team in supporting adults with I/DD and mental health needs at our warm, home-like Crisis Therapeutic Home (CTH) in Staunton, VA.
Please note REACH Region I is now under new management with ESPH! We welcome both new applicants and those who previously applied!
Schedule:
Saturday and Sunday 7am-7pm.
Your Role in Our Mission:
- Make a real difference by providing compassionate nursing care to adults with intellectual/developmental disabilities and behavioral health needs in our Crisis Therapeutic Home.
- Administer medications, perform nursing assessments, and ensure each individual receives the highest standard of care.
- Educate and empower individuals regarding their physical and mental health.
- Collaborate with a dedicated interdisciplinary team to create personalized care and treatment plans.
- Ensure safety and compliance by maintaining accurate documentation and following all clinical standards.
- Play an essential role in promoting stability, recovery, and hope for those we serve.
- Provide guidance to Behavior Techs and LPNs as needed.

Compensation & Benefits:
- Competitive rate: $29.000 to $34.00 per hour.

What We’re Looking For:
- Licensure: Current valid, unrestricted licensed as a Registered Nurse in state of Virginia.
- Knowledge: MH and I/DD systems of care preferred.
- Experience: Crisis prevention and intervention services preferred.
- Transportation: A valid driver's license and car insurance for occasional transportation to appointments.
