Job Description:

For Eligible Applicants

Sign On Bonus: $ 5000

Relocation Bonus: $ 1500

Schedule: Nights, Thurs/Fri/Sat 18:45 – 07:15

• Ensures exam rooms are clean, stocked, and ready for use, and that all equipment undergoes routine cleaning and safety checks.
• Notifies appropriate personnel when inventory is low. 
• Educates patients and family members about MRI procedures, contrast use, and safety precautions, promoting comfort and cooperation throughout the exam.
• Positions patients accurately and comfortably using appropriate immobilization and coil placement techniques to ensure high-quality imaging.
• Prepares and administers IV contrast material following safety guidelines and monitors patients for adverse reactions.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Ability to communicate effectively and work with people of various diverse backgrounds [Required]

Knowledge of MRI procedures [Required]

Knowledge of MRI scanners [Required]

Ability to learn and grow with new technology [Required]

Customer Service skills [Required]

Education:

Associate [Preferred]

High School Grad or Equiv [Required]



Work Experience:

1+ years experience in radiology and completion of MRI training program [Preferred]

(RT)(MR)(ARRT): Additional Licensure or certification requirements may apply depending on the specific unit or state in which this position is located. Please consult the relevant credential grid for detailed information regarding these requirements.

Licenses and Certifications:

Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) [Required] 

Registered Technologist - Magnetic Resonance Imaging (R.T.(MR)ARRT)) [Required] OR

Registered MRI Technologist (ARMRIT) [Required]

Pay Range:

$31.86 - $59.27
