Our client is a results-driven digital marketing agency specializing in lead generation for U.S.-based local service businesses.
The agency helps businesses generate qualified leads through Google Ads, Google Local Services Ads (LSAs), and other digital marketing strategies. Their clients include businesses in industries such as roofing, remodeling, landscaping, legal, medical, and other high-ticket local services.
They're looking for someone who can take ownership of Google Ads accounts while helping improve internal processes and systems.
About the Role
We are looking for a Google Ads Account Manager with hands-on experience managing Google Ads and Local Services Ads (LSAs) for U.S.-based local service businesses.
This is a hybrid role combining campaign management, performance analysis, and client communication. You will manage a portfolio of accounts, monitor performance at a high level, and work directly with clients to communicate results, identify opportunities, and recommend improvements.
You will initially manage approximately 10 accounts, with the opportunity to take on a larger portfolio of 30–40 accounts as the team grows. The role will also involve collaborating with backend specialists who support campaign execution, allowing you to focus on account performance, client relationships, and strategic priorities.
We’re looking for someone who is technically strong, proactive, organized, and confident communicating with clients—someone who takes ownership of results, understands the bigger picture behind campaign performance, and actively looks for ways to improve both outcomes and processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and optimize Google Ads and Google Local Services Ads campaigns for U.S.-based local service businesses.
- Monitor account performance, analyze key metrics, and identify trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement.
- Communicate directly with clients about campaign performance, results, challenges, and optimization strategies.
- Translate performance data into clear insights and actionable recommendations aligned with client goals.
- Manage an initial portfolio of approximately 10 accounts, with the potential to grow to 30–40 accounts over time.
- Maintain a strategic overview of account performance while coordinating with backend specialists responsible for campaign execution.
- Collaborate with Account Managers, Client Success, and the technical/web team.
- Stay current with Google Ads and LSA best practices and identify opportunities to improve campaign performance.
- Contribute ideas and feedback to improve internal systems and workflows.
