Description
Purpose of Position:
To participate as a member within the multi-disciplinary team to provide a high standard of cleaning services which contributes to the delivery of excellent customer service to caregivers, clients, patients and visitors to SJGHC Hospital/Services.
Position Responsibilities :
1. Ensure high standard of cleaning, linen and waste handling are met and consistently maintained in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures and cleaning schedules.
2.Maintain clean and safe common areas, patient wards/units, designated clinical and tenancy spaces and internal offices of the Hospital.
3.Ensure the safe and appropriate use of cleaning tools and equipment and report any faults/defects to the Supervisor/Manager.
4.Ensure appropriate signage is used to maintain a safe work environment.
5.Use chemical products safely and in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and manufacturer instructions and guidelines. Respond to emergency spills in accordance with procedures. Assist with stock maintenance and providing excellent customer service.
