  • Serve as a reliable point of contact for general questions about property access, directions, operating hours, amenities, restrooms, and lost-and-found procedures.
  • Build familiarity with the property layout, tenant locations, available amenities, and applicable visitor procedures to provide accurate assistance.
  • Conduct routine foot patrols to identify unusual activity, unsecured access points, and potential safety hazards.
  • Monitor CCTV cameras, alarms, and access control systems, reporting irregularities and following the appropriate response procedures.
  • Verify credentials and visitor authorization, issue badges when required, and maintain accurate access records.
  • Address tenant and guest concerns patiently, using discretion and professionalism to resolve routine service issues.
  • Respond promptly to disturbances, suspicious activity, alarms, and emergencies while following established protocols.
  • Use verbal de-escalation and appropriate communication techniques to help manage difficult interactions safely.
  • Inspect assigned doors, windows, gates, and equipment to identify security concerns or maintenance issues requiring attention.
  • Apply property rules, access restrictions, company policies, and assigned post orders consistently and respectfully.
  • Prepare accurate reports documenting patrols, incidents, unusual observations, and relevant guest interactions.
  • Communicate important information to supervisors and appropriate personnel to support continuity between shifts.
  • Protect confidential information and maintain discretion when handling sensitive requests or incidents.
  • Use approved digital tools, including platforms such as TrackTik, to complete activity logs and required documentation.

Required Qualifications

  • At least 5 years of customer service experience in a public-facing role.
  • At least 1–2 years of professional security experience.
  • Active Guard Card and a valid driver’s license.
  • Required security licensing for the assigned location, including the applicable City and County of Denver SGL credential.

  • Basic knowledge of security operations, emergency procedures, and post orders.
  • Clear written communication and the ability to prepare accurate incident reports.
  • Basic computer skills and the ability to use digital reporting applications.
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods while completing patrols.
  • Sound judgment, discretion, and the ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and complete required drug screening if applicable.
  • Willingness to complete all required Citadel Security USA onboarding procedures.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate degree or higher education.
  • Two or more years of experience in security, law enforcement, or military service.
  • Previous work in concierge services, hospitality, retail, guest relations, or a comparable customer-facing environment.
  • Experience with access control systems, surveillance equipment, and electronic reporting platforms.
