Los Angeles County, CA (Onsite) | $90,000 to $130,000 + Overtime + Quarterly Bonus

A leading aerospace precision casting manufacturer is hiring an Operations Supervisor for its Los Angeles County operations. The company produces flight-critical metal components for commercial aerospace, military and industrial markets.

This is a hands-on leadership role for a supervisor who runs their area like a business owner, with a focus on safety, quality, delivery and cost.

What you’ll do

• Lead your business unit using metrics-based management across Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost
• Build a safety-first culture through daily stand-ups, safety talks and clear accountability
• Coach, onboard and train employees, conduct performance reviews, and develop team leads
• Own quality, productivity, cost and morale in your area
• Drive Lean and continuous improvement, including 6S, Kaizen and scrap and rework reduction
• Run regular improvement meetings with your team and report cost-saving ideas to senior management
• Partner with Engineering and Quality on process, product and system improvements
• Work with Maintenance on preventive maintenance and resolving breakdowns
• Manage department inventory and supplies within budget
• Communicate customer quality requirements to your team and implement corrective actions as needed

What you bring

• 5+ years of supervisory experience in an industrial manufacturing environment
• Casting, foundry, melting, aerospace or heavy manufacturing experience strongly preferred
• Hands-on Lean experience: continuous improvement, 6S, Kaizen, Poka-Yoke
• A strong commitment to safety
• Experience managing to metrics and using data to hit operational goals
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills
• High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s degree preferred
