About the Business and Team
At SLR, our purpose is to Make Sustainability Happen. SLR is an international environmental consultancy with a globally recognised reputation for providing high quality, tailored services. With over 1,200 staff across 35+ disciplines in the APAC region, we provide a high standard of advice and support on a range of sustainability challenges to a growing client base of businesses, regulatory and governmental organisations. We are proud to be one of the few leading international specialist environmental consultancies.
Tyton Ecological Intelligence (Tyton) builds AI-first platforms for ecological monitoring at landscape scale. Our products, TytonAI and TytonIQ, combine machine learning, high-resolution aerial imagery (drone, aircraft and satellite), and cloud analytics to automate vegetation classification, rehabilitation monitoring, weed mapping and biodiversity assessment across thousands of hectares.
TytonAI is already deployed across major mining operations in Western Australia, and we’re now expanding this capability for broader global use. Learn more about Tyton and our technology at www.tytonei.com.
About the Role
We are looking for a Customer Success Lead, to join Tyton/Spectrum Ecology & Spatial, part of SLR Consulting, at a pivotal point in our growth, based in our Leederville office.
The key focus on this role, will be to drive Tyton, our ecological monitoring software to a growing network of specialist ecologists. Beginning in APC and expanding globally over time. You’ll help ecology teams adopt Tyton, effectively by developing training, internal champions and workflows.
You will work with external customers throughout their journey, supporting the sales team during pre-sales, onboarding and helping customers achieve value from the platform and ensuring continuous improvements by incorporating feedback into product development. This is an opportunity to play a central role in shaping how Tyton supports its users as we scale.
Key Responsibilities
At Tyton, you’ll work with technology that brings together ecological monitoring, machine learning, spatial data and smart analytics to solve real-world environmental challenges.
You’ll work with ecologists, environmental teams and major organisations managing ecosystems across Australia and internationally, while being part of a collaborative and supportive team.
As Customer Success Lead, you will:
- Drive adoption of Tyton across our network of ecologists, developing training, workflows and internal champions to ensure teams get maximum value from the platform.
- Support pre-sales, working with the sales team to qualify opportunities, understand customer needs and demonstrate how Tyton can solve real-world problems.
- Own customer onboarding, helping new clients configure their accounts and workflows and become confident users of the platform.
- Support ongoing customer success, helping customers achieve their project goals and triaging technical issues where required.
- Deliver product demonstrations and training, and develop clear documentation, guides and training materials.
- Represent the voice of the customer, providing structured feedback, enhancement requests and usage insights to the product team to help inform the roadmap.
- Demonstrate customer value, helping develop case studies, success stories and evidence that communicates Tyton’s impact to prospective and existing customers.
Skills & Responsibilities
- 5+ years’ professional experience in customer success, implementation, account management or a similar customer-facing role, ideally across multiple stages of the customer journey.
- The ability to operate both strategically and tactically — helping shape how customer success should work while being comfortable delivering it hands-on.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers, ecologists, sales teams and technical product teams.
- Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple customers and priorities.
- Strong technical aptitude and confidence working hands-on with software, data and workflows, with the ability to quickly learn new tools and train others.
- Comfort working in a growing, evolving environment where processes are still being developed.
- Willingness to travel across the APAC region as the rollout progresses.
Highly regarded
- Experience with GIS or spatial technologies, as spatial data and workflows are central to the Tyton platform.
- A background in environmental science, ecology or a related discipline.
- Experience working with the mining or resources sector, where many of Tyton’s customers operate.
Desirable
- Experience with customer support platforms or CRM software.
- Experience supporting SaaS or other technical products.
- Experience translating customer feedback into actionable input for product teams.
- A strong interest in creative problem-solving and finding practical solutions to customer challenges.

- Flexible work arrangements and a strong focus on work-life balance
- Paid parental leave for primary and secondary carers
- Opportunities to travel across the APAC region as our rollout expands
