As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a retail location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for customers and associates. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to shoppers, employees, vendors, and/or visitors by carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout the retail location, including sales areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter areas, to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location, reporting suspicious conditions, hazards, policy violations, and/or maintenance concerns in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating matters to appropriate personnel when needed.
• Complete accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
