  • Develop event proposals, structure financial offers and negotiate contracts and rental agreements to achieve the strongest possible financial return for the venue. Oversee the booking calendar and balance revenue potential with operational and strategic priorities.
  • Establish and maintain executive-level relationships with promoters, booking agencies, artist representatives, sports organizations, corporate partners and other key industry decision-makers. Represent the Coliseum in competitive bid processes, at industry conferences and through networking and client hospitality activities.
  • Lead the development of integrated sales, marketing, sponsorship, premium hospitality and partnership strategies that maximize event revenue, enhance the customer experience and strengthen the Coliseum brand.
  • Collaborate closely with Coliseum Operations, Finance, Legal, Risk Management, Marketing, Event Management and Ticketing teams, as well as USC Athletics and external partners including Legends, Learfield, promoters and governmental agencies, to support successful event execution and commercial performance.
  • Provide strategic and administrative leadership for the Coliseum’s revenue-generating operations. Establish departmental priorities, organizational structures, staffing plans and performance expectations; recruit, develop, mentor and evaluate management and professional staff; and implement policies and operational standards that strengthen accountability, customer service and revenue performance.
  • Monitor business performance through key indicators such as revenue growth, venue utilization, profitability, event bookings and customer satisfaction. Research industry trends, assess market conditions and competitive opportunities, and recommend strategic priorities and new revenue-generating initiatives.
  • Represent the Coliseum and USC as a senior leader within the entertainment, sports and venue industries. Participate in strategic planning, organizational initiatives and executive decision-making as a member of the Coliseum Executive Leadership Team, while promoting a workplace culture consistent with the USC Code of Ethics.
