Restorative CNA – 1st shift, Monday - Friday

Under the direction of a Licensed Nurse with recommendations and treatment plans by the Therapists will exercise and mobilize residents to increase their physical capabilities, rehabilitation and activities of daily living to keep residents as mobile as they are physically able.

Restorative CNA Overview:

• ​Complete range of motion exercise, including active, passive and resistive
• ​Instruct residents in restorative programs including ambulation, transfers, activities of daily living, communication, and range of motion
• Supports nursing team members in use of resident's assistive devices, including maintenance, inventory, and care of them
• Performs restorative nursing programs in resident rooms, hallways or therapy room to support resident's plan of care
• Supports direct care resident assistants with individual resident's restorative care plans
• Documents resident participation in restorative nursing programs via the electronic health record
• Reports any changes with residents' ability to perform restorative programs to their respective nurse or nursing supervisor
• Valid Pennsylvania Certified Nursing Assistant license
• Certified in CPR 
• Experience working with geriatric persons or dementia residents (Preferred)
• Knowledge of HIPPA and long-term care guidelines CNA
• At least six months' experience working in long term care
