This internship provides hands-on experience within the Corporate Accounting team, supporting key financial processes including month-end close activities, account reconciliations, journal entry preparation, financial analysis, and process improvement initiatives. The intern will develop a strong understanding of corporate accounting practices, internal controls, and financial systems while collaborating with team members to deliver accurate and meaningful financial support.
Potential Projects:
- Assist in the preparation and completion of balance sheet reconciliations, including supporting schedules and documentation.
- Support month-end close activities through journal entry analysis, preparation, and validation.
- Contribute to the documentation, evaluation, and enhancement of accounting processes and internal control procedures.
- Perform data validation, reporting, and process automation support utilizing Excel and other financial tools and systems.
- Lead a designated summer project, culminating in a presentation of findings, insights, and recommendations to the Corporate Accounting team.
What We Are Looking For
Requires a high school diploma or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Entry Level.Developing professional knowledge in the area of expertise. Solid written and verbal communication skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office. Ability to organize, analyze, and reconcile financial data.
