  • UltraTax Management: Use UltraTax to process source documentation, manage workpapers, calculate federal and state tax liabilities, and complete electronic filings.

  • TaxDome Practice Management: Manage tax preparation workflows, track return statuses, automate task updates, communicate securely with clients, and organize tax documentation.

  • Federal & State Tax Compliance: Prepare multi-state tax returns, foreign reporting filings (FBAR and Form 5472), and tax extensions while staying current with U.S. federal and state tax regulations.

  • IRS & State Portal Management: Maintain tax representation authorizations (Forms 2848 and 8821) and manage IRS e-Services records.

  • Deadline & Workflow Management: Handle multiple client tax returns simultaneously, ensuring accuracy, timely submissions, and compliance with critical tax deadlines.

  • Client Communication: Provide clear, professional communication to clients, address tax-related inquiries, and proactively identify potential issues.

Ideal Profile

  • Education & Credentials: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Taxation, or a related field. CPA, EA (Enrolled Agent), or advanced U.S. tax credentials are preferred but not mandatory.

  • US Tax Experience: Ideally 4–6 years of experience in U.S. public accounting or tax practice, preparing individual and business tax returns for multiple clients.

  • Tax Software Proficiency: Hands-on experience with UltraTax and TaxDome.

  • Accounting Fundamentals: Solid understanding of bookkeeping and accounting principles, with the ability to critically review financial data, identify discrepancies, and flag potential issues before filing.

  • Cloud Accounting Tools: Familiarity with QuickBooks Online or Xero to review client financial reports.

  • High ownership mentality and exceptional attention to technical detail.

  • Comfortable managing multiple clients and working under strict tax filing deadlines.

  • Strong analytical skills and a proactive approach to identifying and solving problems.

  • An AI-first problem-solving mindset, adaptability, and willingness to leverage technology to improve efficiency.

  • Independent worker who enjoys getting things done, staying organized, and meeting deadlines.
