Product Manager

Job Purpose

We are looking for a Product Manager to own a defined product area within Trados, taking responsibility for day-to-day product decisions, backlog, and delivery, while working closely with other Product Managers. 

This is a hands-on role for someone who wants to build deep product management craft - discovery, prioritisation, execution, and stakeholder management - inside a well-established product with a clear mandate to innovate and AI-enable its core workflows.

Job Overview

Key Responsibilities

 

Product Ownership & Delivery 

• Own the roadmap and backlog for a defined area of the Trados Cloud platform, translating business and customer needs into clear priorities and requirements. 

• Manage the product development lifecycle from discovery through to launch and iteration, working closely with engineering teams based in Romania. 

• Continuously prioritise features based on customer impact, technical feasibility, and strategic value to the broader Transform portfolio. 

Discovery & Customer Insight 

• Spend time with enterprise customers, LSPs, and translators to understand real workflows and pain points, turning insight into product direction. 

• Conduct user research and testing to validate decisions before and after building. 

• Partner closely with UX to ensure the product is intuitive for a global, professional user base. 

AI-Driven Innovation 

• Work with engineers to integrate emerging AI/LLM capabilities into Trados workflows, under the guidance of senior product leadership. 

• Build understanding of the AI-driven localization landscape and identify opportunities to apply it within your product area. 

Cross-Functional Collaboration 

• Work with Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Customer Success to support launches and gather field feedback. 

• Use data and analytics to monitor adoption, usage, and product performance, and to inform decisions. 

Growth & Development 

• Work directly with the Product Management team to build broader product management skills - strategy, commercial thinking, and stakeholder leadership - with a clear path to greater ownership and seniority. 

 

Skills & Experience

 

• 1–4 years of experience in product management, or in an adjacent role (business/systems analysis, program management) with clear product management aptitude and ambition. 

• Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to turn ambiguous problems into clear priorities. 

• Genuine curiosity about AI/LLM-driven product development; hands-on exposure is a plus but not required. 

• Comfortable working directly with engineers on software, data, and workflow design. 

• A collaborative, low-ego approach, and comfort with pace, ambiguity, and a growing team. 

• Familiarity with translation/localization workflows, or B2B SaaS is a strong plus but not essential. 

• Genuinely curious about the technical "how" - comfortable going deep with engineers on integrations, data flows, and AI/MT specifics, not just the business "what." 

• Based in Romania, Germany or the UK, able to work remote
