JOB TITLE: Studio Production Specialist (Live & Broadcast Operations)
TYPE OF CONTRACT: Consultant level I

DURATION: 11 Months
BACKGROUND AND PURPOSE OF THE ASSIGNMENT:
Under the supervision of the Multimedia Supervisor and in close collaboration with communications and production teams, the consultant will support the operation and management of the HQ studio, ensuring the delivery of high-quality live and recorded video outputs.
This role will act as the main focal point for studio-based productions, supporting live broadcasts, recorded sessions, and in-studio video production, including explainer and institutional content. The consultant will ensure that all productions meet WFP’s technical, editorial and branding standards while providing a reliable and professional service to internal teams and external partners.
The position requires strong technical expertise and a unique level of operational coordination to ensure efficient studio use and consistent, high-quality outputs aligned with organizational
communication objectives.
ACCOUNTABILITIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Studio Operations & Live Production
- Manage and operate studio activities, including live broadcasts, hybrid events, and recorded sessions.
- Handle live production workflows, including video mixing, audio management, and signal

- Ensure smooth execution of live streams and recordings, resolving technical issues in real time.
- Manage the technical complexity and operational challenges arising from connecting to different broadcasters and partners, adapting to a variety of external systems, formats, and transmission requirements.
2. Production & Output Quality
- Support the production of studio-based content, including interviews, explainers, webinars, and institutional videos.
- Ensure outputs meet WFP quality, branding, and editorial standards.
- Review and finalize outputs prior to delivery or publication.
- Prepare final deliverables by editing recorded material when required, including the integration of b-roll, subtitles, and supporting elements to produce broadcast-ready content aligned with WFP branding and quality standards.
3. Technical Management (Studio Systems)
- Operate key studio equipment, including video mixers, cameras, lighting systems, audio setups, and the studio video wall.
- Manage and configure the video wall backdrop using its dedicated software, ensuring appropriate visual setups aligned with production requirements.
- Set up and adjust lighting and technical configurations according to production needs.
- Ensure proper functioning, maintenance, and readiness of all studio systems.
4. Scheduling, Booking & Coordination
- Manage studio bookings and coordinate production schedules to ensure effective use of facilities.
- Liaise with internal teams and external users to plan and deliver studio sessions.
- Support a service-oriented approach for all studio users.
5. Emergency Content Processing
- Edit video material received from emergency operations when required.
- Prepare and upload finalized audiovisual content to the Multimedia Hub, ensuring compliance with metadata, formatting, and organizational standards.
DELIVERABLES AT THE END OF THE CONTRACT:
- High-quality live and recorded studio outputs supporting corporate communications, campaigns and events.
- Efficient management and coordination of studio bookings and operations.
- Consistent delivery of technically sound and brand-compliant video products.
- Edited and uploaded emergency content available on the Multimedia Hub in a timely manner.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- Bachelor’s degree in Film or Television Production, Broadcast Media, Multimedia, Audiovisual Communications, or another related field, as well as an equivalent combination of relevant training and progressively responsible professional experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in video production, including live broadcasting and studio operations.
- Demonstrated experience working with international media, production environments, or similar organizations.
Knowledge & Skills:
- Strong technical expertise in studio production, including lighting, audio, and multi-camera workflows.
- Proficiency in video editing tools and live production systems (including video mixers).
- Strong organizational and coordination skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Attention to detail and commitment to high production standards.
Languages: Good knowledge of English is required.
