Assistant General Manager – Jimmy John's (New Meadville, PA Location) Pay: $17.00–$20.00/hour, based on experience
Jimmy John's is opening a brand-new location in Meadville, PA in 10 weeks, and we're hiring 2 Assistant General Managers to help us launch it right. If you've got restaurant or retail leadership experience, a kick ass, customer focused attitude, and want to be part of a store from day one, this is your shot.
What you'll do
- Help lead daily shop operations: staffing, scheduling, food safety, and speed of service
- Train, coach, and motivate a crew of Team Members and Shift Leaders
- Support the General Manager with hiring, inventory, cash handling, and cost control
- Step in as manager-on-duty and keep the store running smoothly and safely
- Deliver Jimmy John's "Freaky Fast" and best in class customer experience every shift
What you bring
- 1+ years of experience in a restaurant, retail, or food service leadership role (shift lead, AGM, or GM)
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including mornings, evenings, and weekends
- Strong communication and people-management skills
- Comfortable in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Must be 18+ and able to pass a background check
- Reliable transportation as training will be completed at our flagship Jimmy John's location at 821 West Erie Plaza in Erie!
