Position Summary
The Portfolio Analyst supports the management and oversight of institutional investment portfolios for endowments, foundations, retirement plans, and nonprofit organizations. This role partners with investment consultants, advisors, and research professionals to monitor portfolio performance, execute trades, support rebalancing activities, prepare client reporting, and contribute to proposals and analysis. The ideal candidate is analytical, detail-oriented, and passionate about institutional investing and capital markets.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor portfolio performance, asset allocation, and risk metrics.
- Prepare portfolio reviews, investment reports, and client presentation materials.
- Execute trades and support portfolio rebalancing in accordance with investment policy guidelines.
- Coordinate with trading, operations, and compliance teams to ensure accurate trade execution and settlement.
- Provide portfolio analysis and reporting support for investment consultants and advisors for client meetings.
- Identify opportunities to improve investment reporting, workflows, and operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
- A minimum of 1 year of experience in investment management, institutional consulting, portfolio analysis, or related roles.
- Strong analytical, quantitative, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and investment reporting systems.
- Knowledge of portfolio management, asset allocation, and capital markets.
- CFA candidacy or progress toward a professional investment designation is preferred.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
This position is eligible to earn a base salary in the range of $52,000.00 - $80,000.00 annually. Placement within the pay range may differ based upon various factors, including but not limited to skills, experience and geographic location. Compensation for this role also includes eligibility for incentive compensation which may include production, commission, and/or discretionary incentives.Please click here for a list of benefits for which this position is eligible.
