About the company: Our client is a growing architecture firm in East Texas, focused on creating healthy, inspiring environments for commercial and residential clients.
Position overview:
- Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Architectural Project Manager to lead and coordinate projects from concept through completion.
- This is a full-time, on-site role in East Texas.
- You will generate and manage construction documents in AutoCAD, oversee schedules and budgets, and guide projects through permitting, bidding, and construction administration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Generate and manage architectural projects from concept through construction.
- Produce detailed construction drawings in AutoCAD.
- Coordinate with and review the work of assistant project managers and drafters.
- Lead projects through permitting and bidding; interface with city officials.
- Support construction administration, including RFIs and field issues.
- Communicate directly with clients and manage expectations.
- Track project schedules and basic budgets.
Required qualifications:
- 3-5 years of architectural project management experience.
- Strong AutoCAD proficiency; able to independently produce full construction document sets.
- Experience with permitting, bidding, and construction administration.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
Preferred qualifications:
- Professional degree in Architecture or related field; licensure or on licensure track a plus.
- Experience supervising or mentoring drafters/assistant PMs.
- Interest in helping grow a small firm and building client relationships.
Compensation and benefits:
- Base salary
- Commission opportunity (~10% on fees for projects brought in).

Schedule: Monday-Thursday approx. 7:30am - 5:30pm; half-day Fridays.
