Overview
Mastercard’s Cyber and Intelligence organization develops and delivers world-class security products and services for customers across the globe. C&I was established to safeguard all aspects of safety and security in payments with new products, services and standards.
Fraud and chargebacks disrupt the entire payments ecosystem, driving both card issuers and merchants to focus on resolving disputes instead of increasing card acceptance and revenue. Ethoca Consumer Clarity (“Clarity”) changes the dialogue creating a rich environment for issuers and merchants to engage cardholders post transaction reducing frustration and driving repeat spend. The Manager, Product Management, Consumer Clarity Product will lead one or more products in the Clarity portfolio, defining the product road map, managing and operating the product in market in partnership with the sales and engineering organizations.
In this role, you will drive requirements working closely with our customers and partners, and lead business architecture and go-to-market execution and be the primary product advocate for it.
This role requires a curious, thoughtful and analytical person with drive and passion for payments, fraud and customer experience:
• Lead the rapid evolution of the product strategy, and ensure that our rich value proposition is fully delivered through our existing and current solutions;
• Manage all aspects of the product including the P&L, analysis, pricing, recommendations and implementation, solution packaging and overall commercialization;
• Establish and maintain strong two-way communications with our go-to-market teams, customers and partners – chair periodic regional meetings and innovation workshops;
• Support the evaluation, piloting and launch of new capabilities in each region; establish feedback and continuous improvement processes; develop regional product launch playbooks;
• Monitor and assess risk of both existing and emerging competitive solutions, seeking to differentiate core capabilities, features and functions to ensure consistent competitive advantage in the marketplace;
• Develop clear, convincing and data-driven business cases for significant new growth investments; and
All About You: The ideal candidate will have broad and extensive experience with:
• Experience in the Payments, Card Fraud, Ecommerce, Financial Services is desired, experience in Technology product management is a must;
• Optimally, has ideated, designed, built, launched, and monitored the success of a v1 product.
• Ability to hit the ground running, adapt quickly and take an action-oriented, roll-up-your-sleeves approach to execution that focuses on measurable results;
• Strategic, analytical, and systematic thinker who consistently and constructively challenges team to drive continuous improvement;
• Exceptional commitment to product management discipline and best practices; process-oriented, with a high attention to detail and quality on both internal team work and external products delivered to the market;
