Medical Assistant – Endocrinology

Full-Time | Monday–Friday | No Weekends or Holidays

Madison Medical is seeking a compassionate, dependable Medical Assistant to join our Endocrinology team. In this role, you’ll work closely with our physicians and clinical staff to provide excellent patient care while helping keep the clinic running smoothly.

Your Schedule

This is a full-time, Monday–Friday position with no weekends or holidays.

Monday–Thursday: 7:45 AM–4:15 PM
Friday: 8:30 AM–5:00 PM

What You’ll Do

As a Medical Assistant on our Endocrinology team, you’ll play an important role in each patient's experience. Your responsibilities will include:

• Welcoming and rooming patients and helping them feel comfortable throughout their visit
• Obtaining patient histories and accurate vital signs
• Preparing exam rooms and maintaining a clean, safe, and well-stocked clinical environment
• Assisting physicians with clinic-specific procedures and patient care
• Administering routine medications, including immunizations, antibiotics, vitamins, pain medications, and topical agents
• Performing point-of-care testing as appropriate
• Providing basic patient education and answering patient questions within your scope
• Managing patient messages and phone calls in a timely, professional manner
• Assisting with medication refills and prior authorizations according to physician protocols
• Scheduling follow-up appointments as needed
• Maintaining accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record (EHR)
• Working closely with physicians and fellow team members to provide an excellent patient experience

What We’re Looking For

Required:

• High school diploma or GED
• Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program, military-equivalent training, or at least one year of demonstrated Medical Assistant experience
• Current CPR certification
• Comfort using computers and electronic health records
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a clinical team
• Commitment to providing friendly, respectful, high-quality patient care

Medical Assistant certification is preferred, but not required.
