Job Description Summary
The Compressor Module Integration Leader (MIL) is responsible for coordinating and driving module-level execution across assigned programs and initiatives, including NPI, fleet support, RCAs, and CAPAs. The role serves as a key integration focal between the Compressor Module and adjacent engineering and business functions such as Systems, Product Line, DLE, AME, Services, Fleet, CMPD, Repair, and other partner organizations.The MIL helps improve quality, efficiency, and effectiveness of module execution by aligning priorities, supporting common ways of working, and driving timely closure of technical and programmatic actions. Working closely with Compressor Module Product Leaders, CTHs, TLs, and cross-functional stakeholders, this role contributes to execution strategy within the area of responsibility and supports delivery through strong coordination, risk management, and communication.
This role requires sound operational judgment, the ability to solve complex technical and program challenges, and the ability to explain difficult information while building alignment across a matrixed organization.
Job Description
Essential Responsibilities
- Lead coordination and execution of compressor module activities for assigned programs, including NPI, fleet support, RCAs, CAPAs, and other module-driven priorities.
- Create, maintain, and drive integrated schedules for assigned Compressor Module programs and initiatives; track status, risks, dependencies, and key deliverables to support quality, timeliness, and execution effectiveness.
- Provide significant input into program priorities, execution plans, and ways of working within the Compressor Module to improve team effectiveness and delivery performance.
- Partner with Product Leaders, CTHs, TLs, and cross-functional stakeholders to align deliverables, resolve issues, and promote common solutions across similar module challenges
- Support development and deployment of best practices, standard work, and lessons learned within the Compressor Module; serve as a quality and integration resource for the team.
- Use technical experience, data analysis, and operational judgment to assess complex issues, develop recommendations, and support decision-making across module activities.
- Support the HDGT fleet through leadership of fleet inspections, synthesis of fleet data, and stewardship of compressor module configuration information to help identify risks, trends, and opportunities for action.
- Work across the matrixed Gas Power organization to coordinate solutions to issues affecting multiple programs, using engineering, product management, Lean, and process improvement approaches as appropriate.
- Identify, communicate, and help mitigate Compressor Module risks, issues, and execution gaps with internal stakeholders and partner teams. Key interfaces may include Aerodynamics, Heat Transfer, DLE, AME, Systems, Materials Engineering, Sourcing, Suppliers, Repair, Product Definition, Fleet Engineering and Product Service, support component DM tracking for all interfacing groups w/module
- Take a new perspective on existing processes and solutions and recommend practical improvements that enhance execution, integration, and responsiveness to program needs.
- Explain difficult or sensitive technical and program information clearly to stakeholders and help build consensus across teams with differing priorities.
- Act as a resource for colleagues with less experience and support team capability building through coaching, collaboration, and sharing of best practices.
- Lead small projects or focused integration efforts with moderate risk and resource requirements in support of Compressor Module objectives.
Qualifications / Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related Engineering / Science field from an accredited college or university with minimum 8 years of experience in related field
- Demonstrated experience in engineering, program execution, module integration, or related technical leadership roles in the gas turbine design domain.
- Experience working across cross-functional and matrixed teams to coordinate deliverables, solve problems, and support execution.
- Demonstrated ability to use judgment, technical knowledge, and data to solve complex problems and support recommendations.
Desired Characteristics

· Experience in gas turbine design, module engineering, or related turbomachinery applications.
· Master’s degree in mechanical engineering or related Engineering / Science field.
· Mechanical component design experience in gas turbine applications.
· Demonstrated project or program management capability through experience and/or certification.
· Effective interpersonal, facilitative, and organizational skills with a proven ability to work across global and cross-functional teams.
· In-depth knowledge of engineering best practices and awareness of how the Compressor Module integrates with adjacent functions.
· Customer-focused mindset with strong quality orientation.
· Strong oral and written communication skills, including the ability to explain difficult concepts and build alignment among stakeholders.
· Ability to adapt to changing business and program needs while maintaining focus on execution and delivery.
