Dave Hausbeck Trucking (DHT Group) is hiring experienced CDL-A Hazmat Tanker Owner/Operators in the Grand Rapids / Southwest Michigan region for specialized propane and butane transportation throughout Michigan, Indiana, Illinois, and surrounding regional markets.

Actual Owner/Operator revenue varies based on loads, routes, availability, seasonal demand, operating expenses, and other factors.

DHT has more than 40 years of transportation experience and operates a specialized propane fleet throughout Michigan and surrounding regional markets.

Our operation includes equipment ranging through specialized 160,000 lb multi-axle Jumbo propane transports. As a DHT Owner/Operator, you'll bring your own qualified equipment into an established operation built around specialized tanker transportation.

What You'll Do

• Transport propane and butane (UN1075) throughout Michigan, Indiana, Illinois, and surrounding regional markets
• Safely load and unload product using appropriate pumping equipment
• Perform required pre-trip and post-trip inspections
• Maintain accurate ELDs and shipping documentation
• Properly maintain hoses, valves, placards, and tanker equipment
• Maintain equipment in accordance with applicable DOT and safety requirements
• Provide professional service to DHT customers
• Meet DHT safety and operating standards

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL
• Hazmat (H) and Tanker (N) endorsements required; combined X endorsement accepted
• 1–2 years of verifiable CDL-A driving experience preferred
• Propane, LPG, anhydrous ammonia, refined fuel, or other bulk liquid/gas hauling experience strongly preferred
• Must meet applicable DOT qualification requirements
• Ability to work safely outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds
• Owner/Operator equipment must meet applicable DHT, DOT, and regulatory requirements
