What impact you'll make:
As a Technical Leader, you will serve as the strategic anchor for Mechanics of Materials. As our testing demands grow, this role will act as a force multiplier, shifting the team from reactive execution to high-velocity, standardized analysis. You will be responsible for shaping our technical direction, establishing the "gold standard" for our methodologies, and driving team-wide excellence through direct mentorship.

Responsibilities
- Methodology Development: Create, document, and maintain comprehensive "standard work" and formal work instructions for all testing methods. Ensure these processes are scalable, repeatable, and accessible to the broader team.
- Technical Mentorship: Function as the primary technical coach for junior engineers, fostering their development through regular reviews, technical guidance, and direct training.
- Process Standardization: Audit existing testing workflows to identify inconsistencies; lead the effort to formalize and streamline these processes to ensure consistent, high-quality data delivery.
- Strategic Interface: Serve as the technical focal point for cross-functional partners to ensure that testing requirements are clearly communicated and integrated into project timelines.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Materials Science Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- At least 7 years’ experience in a highly relevant engineering environment.

For candidates applying to a U.S. based position, the pay range for this position is between $113,200.00 and $188,800.00. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set.
Bonus eligibility: discretionary annual bonus.
