Responsibilities
The Shift Scheduler is responsible for all aspects of employee scheduling for their assigned department/area, including preparing and maintaining schedules, handling schedule changes, and addressing scheduling gaps. This role works closely with the department leaders to develop effective schedules that align with operational requirements while ensuring compliance with labor regulations and organizational policies. Additionally, the Shift Scheduler reviews and validates timekeeping records, provides guidance on corrections, and assists with resolving timekeeping discrepancies.Qualifications
Education• High School Diploma, High School Equivalency (HSE) or Completion of a CHS Approved Individualized Education Plan (IEP) Certificate required Experience• 3 years of experience in a healthcare setting required• Prior scheduling or related experience preferredDisclaimers
