Responsibilities
Assists the technical and transcription staff in one (1) or more of the laboratory areas. Performs specimen preparatory functions. Also provides clerical and technical support in Pathology.
Qualifications
REQUIRED
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to understand and apply accurate procedures in specimen handling and clerical processing.
- Has good communication and organizational skills with demonstrated ability to provide accurate information and instructions.
- Has strong computer keyboarding skills.
PREFERRED
- One (1) year experience as a Lab Technical Assistant in a clinical or pathology laboratory.
- Knowledge and experience in the use and application of computers
