Salary Range

Min: $21.41

Max: $32.13

 

This salary range is a good faith estimate of the expected salary range for this position, based on a wide range of factors including qualifications, experience and training, operational and business needs and other considerations permitted by law.  At NEU, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for the role.

 

Responsibilities

• Perform Moving transportation, packing, loading/unloading, delivery, and warehouse operations for international household goods.
• Handle customers’ belongings safely and professionally to ensure high service quality
• Maintain company vehicles, warehouse areas, and workspaces in safe and organized conditions.
• Comply with DOT regulations, company procedures, and required inspection and recordkeeping 　　
• Complete required training and promptly report operational or customer-related issues to   

Qualifications

• Minimum 21 years of age with a valid Driver’s License and satisfactory driving record.
• Ability to safely perform packing, lifting, transportation, and warehouse duties.
• High School Diploma, equivalency certificate or significant relevant or appropriate working experience
• Ability to meet DOT and company qualification requirements, including obtaining a DOT Medical Card if required.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Basic computer skills and willingness to complete required company training.

Organization Relationships

• This position will interact with all levels of employees at the branch, including colleagues, leadership staff, and office personnel.
• Must be able to work with customers, vendors, and outside organizations

Work Environment

• Driving for long periods of time
• Standing, bending, twisting, kneeling, reaching, repetitive use of hands, grasping
• Pulling, pushing, lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Exposure to traffic, excessive noise in a fast-paced warehouse environment
• Use of equipment such as forklift and pallet jacks
