We are seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to support the reliability, security, automation, and ongoing operation of a critical enterprise technology platform. This role requires strong hands-on experience across modern cloud-native infrastructure, observability, continuous delivery, incident management, and platform security.
The engineer will be an integral member of the DevOps team, responsible for maintaining platform stability, supporting production releases, resolving complex incidents, improving operational processes, and ensuring infrastructure and applications meet security and compliance requirements.
What you’ll do in the role:
- Operate, maintain, and enhance cloud-native and containerized infrastructure, including orchestration and supporting platform services.
- Monitor platform health and performance using observability, logging, alerting, and incident-management capabilities.
- Troubleshoot complex production and infrastructure incidents, perform root-cause analysis, and implement corrective and preventative actions.
- Support release management and continuous delivery, including deployment pipelines, release validation, controlled deployment strategies, and production readiness.
- Maintain and improve CI/CD and infrastructure automation to enable reliable and repeatable software delivery.
- Identify, assess, prioritize, and remediate security vulnerabilities across the platform in accordance with security and compliance standards.
- Automate manual and repetitive operational processes to reduce engineering toil, improve efficiency, and minimize operational risk.
- Partner with application development, infrastructure, security, and support teams to resolve issues and continuously improve platform reliability.
- Develop and maintain operational documentation, procedures, troubleshooting guides, and platform knowledge.
- Share technical expertise with team members and contribute to the continued development and upskilling of the broader engineering team.
- Participate in production support and ensure critical services maintain appropriate levels of availability, resilience, performance, and recoverability.
What you’ll bring to the role:
- Strong experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, Platform Engineering, or a related infrastructure engineering role.
- Hands-on experience with container orchestration, observability, logging, deployment automation, and incident-management technologies.
- Experience designing, maintaining, and troubleshooting CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes.
- Strong production troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills.
- Experience with vulnerability management, security remediation, and secure infrastructure practices.
- Experience automating operational processes using scripting, configuration management, or infrastructure-as-code approaches.
- Strong understanding of production reliability, monitoring, release management, and operational controls.
- Effective communication, documentation, collaboration, and knowledge-sharing skills.
Role Impact:
- This role is critical to maintaining a stable, secure, and reliable production platform.
- The engineer will help reduce downtime, improve release quality, strengthen security and compliance, and increase operational efficiency through automation.
- Maintaining dedicated expertise in this area also provides continuity for a platform where deep technical and operational knowledge is essential to effective production support
- Bachelors or Masters in Technology and 2-4 years of experience in the industry
