Description
Schedule: Afternoons | Monday – Friday (12:00 PM – 8:30 PM)
Weekend Requirements: Rotational coverage (every 5th Saturday, 10:00 AM – 6:30 PM). Note: Open to weekend-cadre schedule (every weekend) or every-other-weekend schedule with weekday shifts to total 80 hours per pay period.
Holiday Requirements: Included in staff holiday rotation (currently includes Thanksgiving midnight shift: 6:30 PM – 6:30 AM).
On-Call Requirements: None
Position Summary:
A healthcare facility in the Clarkston, MI area is seeking a temporary CT and X-Ray Technologist for an afternoon shift assignment. Working collaboratively with the multidisciplinary healthcare team, the technologist performs diagnostic CT and radiologic procedures in compliance with facility policies, professional standards, and regulatory guidelines.
Core Responsibilities:
- Perform high-quality CT and diagnostic X-ray imaging procedures in accordance with physician orders and established clinical protocols.
- Maintain professional standards of practice, patient safety, and radiation protection as defined by regulatory bodies and facility guidelines.
- Collaborate effectively with radiologists, clinical staff, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless patient care and timely results.
Candidate Submission & Qualification Requirements:
Experience & Technical Skills:
- Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in CT and X-Ray imaging [REQUIRED].
- Hands-on experience operating Toshiba CT imaging equipment [REQUIRED].
Certifications & Credentials:
- ARRT Certification: Active ARRT (CT) certification [REQUIRED - Must submit document at presentation].
- BLS Certification: Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) [REQUIRED].
Work Environment & Logistics:
- Must be comfortable working afternoon shifts and participating in the scheduled holiday and weekend rotation as outlined.
