Officer Financial Reporting

What is the opportunity?

The Officer Financial Reporting is responsible for the financial reporting to the Central Bank of Aruba (CBA) according to the CBA guidelines and in adherence to policy guidelines of the Bank. The Officer has frequent contacts with the Central Bank and staff of other departments. Possess good business acumen and ability to provide strong support to the Manager with respect to the regulatory reporting functions for Aruba subsidiaries.  Demonstrates accountability and responsibility to deliver a continuous high level of quality output on a timely basis and is able to quickly grasp issues and offer possible solutions.

What will you do?

• Report accurately to the Central Bank in a timely fashion
• Process information for foreign exchange commission
• Submit reports and letters to the Central Bank
• Supply information to Management, other departments and branches
• Instruct other departments and branches about the CBA rules and guidelines
• Follow up on Central Bank inquiries and provide variance explanations
• Improve the workflow within the department
• Ensure timely and proper reporting of all required internal reports
• Maintain the highest standards of professionalism and ethical behaviour
• Prepare monthly Foreign Exchange Commission (FER) / ERMC filings
• Develop and maintain working paper files to support all deliverables
• Contribute to overall team success by committing to deliver a continuous level of high service.

                                                                                          

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have

• HBO (Finance) degree and at least 3 years banking experience.
• Nibe (Bank orientation)
• Good knowledge of the Organization’s routine guidelines and procedures governing same.
• Strong communication, written and oral communication skills.
• Implement/adhere to the Groups service standards
• Ability to lead and motivate others
